4D Rates for the Destruction of Classified Media.

4D has the ability to destroy and sanitise classified media and hard drives. This is possible with our new purpose-built Cutter-Grinder, which has been endorsed by the Security Construction and Equipment Committee for the destruction of material classified up to Top Secret. 4D uses an innovative process that separates out material allowing for the green recycling of components. If you would rather store classified items than destroy them but don’t have the space, 4D has the capacity to store items classified up to Secret/Highly Protected in our spacious new building in Canberra.

Notes:

1. Storage tape refers to DAT tapes or equivalent.
2. Includes issue of Destruction Certificate.
3. Cost is based on pickup within Canberra. Costs for other locations is Fee plus travel time at $220/hr, which includes two security-cleared staff and 4D vehicle.
4. Cost is based on media being ready for pickup and documented in accordance with the Australian Government Protective Security Manual requirements for the classification of the media. 4D can provide support to remove the media from equipment, e.g. hard drives from servers, and document the media for destruction on a time and materials basis. This is done at a rate of $77/hr for material classified up to Confidential/Protected, and $99/hr for media classified Secret.
